Tower Escape was an escape experience at Inspiratiecentrum Grevelingen on the Brouwersdam, between the North Sea and the Grevelingenmeer โ now reportedly permanently closed according to Tripadvisor. Teams were 'locked in' the 26-meter high observation tower and had 60 minutes to be the first to escape, with multiple teams competing against each other simultaneously. The game was more of a quiz-like treasure hunt than a classically built escape room: questions and clues scattered throughout the tower, partly based on the view over dam, sea and lake, with an original way to find the final code. Scarce reviews were positive ('great fun!') and praised especially the beautiful location and sunset finales with evening cafรฉ afterwards, but true escape room enthusiasts largely ignored it โ on Escapetalk the count remained at zero reviews.
