About this venue
Not a classic escape room but a large-scale escape event in the authentic former Sint Jozefklooster in Monster (Westland), organized by B&T Productions from Naaldwijk. Since 1850 a secret has lain hidden in the cloister, which the nuns took to their grave when they left in 1994; teams of between 15 and 120 participants roam freely through the real chapel, cloister corridors and cellars to unravel the secret of Sister Theresia through codes and cryptic descriptions. There are no locked doors — roaming actors in monk's robes give hints where needed, entirely in character. Visitors average 8.4 and are especially enthusiastic about the beautiful ambiance and varied puzzles; criticism focuses on pacing between stations, where some teams get stuck too long at one puzzle. Optional lunch or dinner in the chapel can be booked — especially popular as a corporate outing.
