About this venue
In the basement of the Fundustry Events complex on Bergse Linker Rottekade — mainly known for paintball and workshops — three escape rooms have been running since October 2017. In Harrison's Squad you slip in as an arrest team through the back entrance of a robbed bank to defuse a bomb, in the Victorian Mysterious Plague you investigate what plague master Benedict is really up to in his manor (the most difficult and best-dressed room), and in Lab Madness you search for your missing friend in a sterile laboratory. Reviewers consistently praise the friendly staff and especially the personally told story introduction, but the puzzles rely on locks and number codes that don't always fit the theme. With a 7/10 based on 14 reviews, this is a solid middle-of-the-road option: fun as part of a group outing, less suitable for seasoned puzzlers. Recurring complaints: sound leaks between the adjacent rooms and prop maintenance sometimes leaves something to be desired.
