Escape-World Delft (Escapebox Vermeer)

Delft Closed 1 room

About this venue

Escape-World Delft was not an ordinary escape room but a temporary pop-up: the Escapebox Vermeer, a compact, self-contained escape box in Museum Het Prinsenhof during the exhibition 'Vermeer comes home' (March 25 to July 27, 2016), when Vermeer's The Little Street returned to Delft. Small groups entered a reconstruction of Vermeer's 17th-century artist's studio and had to escape within 15 minutes via puzzles about the painter and the exhibition. Behind the project is Escape-World, a builder that supplies custom escape boxes to museums, festivals and events. The box disappeared with the exhibition; hardly any reviews or scores have been preserved โ€” the documentation on this venue is the sparsest of all South Holland mentions.
