Real-Life Xcape operated for about ten years in The Hague city centre (Gortstraat 7) with three rooms: the prison adventure Prison Escape, the creepy The Morgue and the espionage room Wolf Den. The business profiled itself with 'high-tech' elements such as lasers and light effects, though the puzzle base consisted mainly of number and combination locks according to reviews. On TripAdvisor the venue received predominantly positive reviews: well-designed rooms, friendly staff with flawless English and a central location; the most common criticism was unsolicited, overly fast hints. Since 5 August 2025 the venue has closed because the lease contract ended; no reopening is announced for mid-2026 and the own website is offline.
