Escape 015 was a small, enthusiast-run escape room in Pijnacker with one room: De Gekke Geleerde. Players were locked in as abducted test subjects in the laboratory of Dr. Von Hellenberg, a villain whose life story from 1973 to 2017 was told throughout the room. Despite the dark premise, the room was deliberately family-friendly, without horror effects. The sparse reviews were warm (TripAdvisor 4.5 based on just 4 ratings) and praised the varied puzzles, but the venue never built a large following and is now permanently closed.
