The Delta Hotel on the Nieuwe Maas in Vlaardingen has run one escape room as a side activity since April 2020: Ocean Escape. The story: the racing sailboat Delta65 is ready for her second Ocean Race, but the Russian mafia has been on board and planted a bomb—you have 60 minutes to find it and defuse it. The room is set up in the Nautilus hall with actual views of the river, and is primarily marketed as part of a night out with drinks and dining packages. To be honest: the room is almost invisible in the escape scene—too few reviews for a score on Escape Rooms Nederland and no escapetalk presence—so little can be said publicly about quality. It mainly works as a group outing-with-dinner for hotel guests and companies.
