Dark Escape Story's is an announced horror venue on the Antwerpseweg in the Goudse Poort, marketing itself with the promise to 'experience the magic of your own film': professional live actors, surprising plot twists and immersive lighting and sound effects. Two experiences are scheduled — The Last Holiday, a 90-minute horror tour through an abandoned holiday park around the escaped 'Gatekeeper', and The Diner, where you must unravel a murder committed in a restaurant. To be honest: as of mid-2026 the site is still 'Coming soon', the permit was only requested in March 2025 and there are no player reviews, scores or independent experiences to be found. The only signal is an in-house testimonial about how realistic the actors are — a promising concept then, but nothing can be booked or assessed until the doors actually open.
