Bowling Westland in De Lier is a bowling and entertainment center with two escape rooms as part of its outing options, often booked in combination with bowling and dining. In August 2025, the rooms were completely renovated: in Cosa Nostra you're initiated into a Sicilian mafia family and must pull off a risky heist against a rival gang, while Upside Down takes place in the chaotic, literally upside-down lab of Professor Ellen who wants to launch her moon rocket. Early visitors especially praise the spacious layout—everyone has something to do, even with larger groups—and find the rooms a pleasant surprise for a bowling center. One note from (still scarce) reviews: the game relies quite heavily on locks and number codes rather than modern technology, so expect a fun classic escape room, not a high-tech experience.
