Ayers Rock on Buytenparklaan in Zoetermeer was a large indoor/outdoor activity center (climbing, high ropes courses, corporate events) that added one escape room under the Pandora Escape brand. The room The Archives drew on the venue's fiction as a former 1950s military base where a sealed chamber was supposedly discovered during renovation; the game was mainly sold via Groupon deals as part of packages including a climbing wall, archery and BBQ. The room never received its own score — the shared Pandora listing remained stuck at 7.5/10, with complaints about unprofessional reception from generalist staff. When rebranded to Adventure Valley Zoetermeer (around 2024-25), the escape room was simply discontinued: a textbook example of a room as an afterthought that doesn't survive the first rebrand.
