About this venue
This venue on Tuinstraat in Veenendaal, housed in the old cinema, ran for years as The Circle Real Life Gaming — an entertainment hub with escape rooms, VR, pool tables and a bar/lounge for groups up to 80 people. In 2025, the Live Escape chain took over the location and refurbished the rooms with new names: Mission Zero (formerly Operation Source Code), a high-tech bank heist for elite hackers, and The Cure Experiment (formerly Operation Nightmare), a nerve-wracking abandoned laboratory where everyone has vanished without a trace. Visitors praise the well-thought-out tasks, extensive theming and relaxed staff, and The Cure Experiment is lauded for its surprising ending; in the tech-heavy past there were complaints about malfunctioning equipment. The venue was named Escape Room of the Year - Netherlands by the Prestige Awards 2025/26.
