Live Escape Amersfoort is a branch of the national Live Escape chain and bills itself as the most booked escape room in Amersfoort. There are four rooms: the detective-tinged Theft at the Morgue, the magical Wizard School (in both child and adult versions), the light-horror Cabin 666 and public favourite The Museum Heist, in which you execute a masterplan as art thieves. It's a volume operator competing on price (from 19 euros p.p.), availability and full bilingualism, not innovation. Opinions vary strikingly: casual visitors give 4.4-4.7 stars on Google and praise the friendly staff and accessibility for beginners, while enthusiasts on escapetalk average 5.9 and complain about flat gameplay, inconsistent puzzle logic and dated decoration. Museum Heist (7.1) is clearly the best room.
