Freakshow Fenomena Logica calls itself 'the Netherlands' most theatrical mobile escape room': a game built in a real vintage circus wagon, run by a collective of around twenty game designers, actors, storytellers and acrobats from Den Dolder. In the roughly twenty-minute show, the intimidating circus director Zlatan Zorrero presents his top attraction, the Bearded Woman; once he leaves, she asks you to retrieve her magical comb set from his private quarters—while she stands watch. The actors serve as briefing, hint system and timer simultaneously, and the wagon itself is street theater for the waiting queue. Visitors love the theatrical elements and engaging story (escapetalk 7.7, atmosphere 8.2); the puzzles themselves are thinner than the theater. The wagon travels to festivals and events throughout the Netherlands and is available for rent by the day.
