Escaperoom De Melkput is built in the authentic old milk pit of farm and event location De Boerinn in Kamerik: according to the venue itself, 'the location tells the story by itself, nothing is artificial'. The game is intentionally simple in design — escape within 60 minutes using logical thinking, puzzles, and dexterity — but the trump card is the versus format: with 6 to 10 players, team red and team blue compete in two identical rooms with different codes, where you can sometimes hear and even see your opponent. Reviewers found the real milk pit and the competitive element fun, but the many digit locks became tedious over time (escapetalk 7.5, game score 7.1). The escape room has been temporarily closed since 2024 for maintenance, and it's unclear if it will reopen; the farm itself continues to operate as a group event location.
