About this venue

AdventurEscape is a newer escape room venue on Vrieslantlaan in Utrecht, right next to the A12, in a leisure complex with a climbing wall and catering. There are two rooms: Timescape, an archaeological art heist with an original time-loop twist where the same room gains new meaning with each loop, and The Spear of Destiny, a search for a missing professor. Both rooms are playable in Dutch and English and span remarkably many physical spaces. Opinions vary: Dutch players praise the surprising loop concept and puzzle variety and find the rooms accessible for beginners, while the American Room Escape Artist in early 2026 was critical of wear, finish, and the relatively high fixed price.
