Bureau X was not a commercial escape room but a free pop-up event by the youth workers of SaamWelzijn, together with Vechtdal Next and the municipality of Dalfsen, played in the genuinely abandoned police station at Molendijk 9. The story centered on why the station was hastily abandoned years ago: participants (ages 8 to 20) searched time slots for clues, cracked codes, and opened hidden archives. The power lay in the location itself — an authentic, decommissioned police station as the setting. Because it was a one-day youth event (September 2025), there are no reviews on escapetalk or Google; only local press and Instagram reported on it.
