Escape de Kist in Den Ham is not a traditional escape room but an 'escape room for home': rental escape boxes full of secret compartments, number codes and padlocks, playable at home, at vacation parks in the region or at their own center on the Wigboldinck (with a climbing wall next door; also a pickup point in Enschede). Each solved puzzle yields a code for one of many padlocks, allowing you to open deeper layers of the box — about two hours of puzzling without electronics, with a Wall of Fame for record times. There are two games: the harbor mystery Het Mysterie van de Haven and the spy adventure Operatie G.O.O.S.P. Online reviews are hard to find — this is a small rural provider that books mainly through word-of-mouth and vacation parks — but the Facebook page is active and positive.
