Sherlock Holmes Adventures is the official, Conan Doyle Foundation-approved Sherlock Holmes license holder, a five-minute walk from Amsterdam Centraal. The escape room Sherlock's Brain Attic (75 min) lets you literally enter the 'mind palace' of the deceased detective to solve an Amsterdam cold case, set in a narrow canal house with stairs and climbing; there's also the city game Moriarty's Masterpiece with live actors through the centre. Visitors particularly praise the host who 'immerses you in the story from start to finish', the atmosphere, and beautiful décor—ideal for beginners. The only escapetalk review is more critical of the puzzle experience itself (gameplay 6.0 versus service 10.0): décor and service are stronger than game design. The venue is still young and has a thin review base.
