About this venue
[esc] Save Amsterdam is an affordable neighborhood escape room in Amsterdam Nieuw-West (Cornelis van Alkemadestraat 69, 10 minutes walk from Lelylaan station) and one of the city's older operators. Where the venue once had three themes (Zombie Apocalypse, Water Flood, Black Hole), it now runs one zombie experience across three connected rooms: a virus escapes from a lab and turns the population into zombies, and you must break into the secret lab to find the cure before the lab explodes. It's deliberately non-horror (light and sound effects, no live scares) and playable regardless of language. Visitors praise the warm, owner-driven welcome, the quantity and originality of the puzzles and the sharp price (€14-24 pp). Criticism: the décor is fairly simple and some puzzles lack clear logic or feel disconnected from the theme.
