About this venue

Waterjump Tilburg was a temporary beach resort on the Wilhelminakanaal (Twentestraat) with an outdoor escape game: Expeditie Robinson, built by Locks & Keys. It was not a room but an outdoor game on the sand, where teams of 2-6 solved mental and physical challenges around 1 to 4 chests in the style of the TV show; whoever cracked their chest raised the flag. Up to four teams (24 players) competed simultaneously head-to-head. The beach resort on Twentestraat closed permanently after the 2016 season and that site has since been demolished; a planned reboot was delayed and Waterjump only reappeared years later, as a bare beach resort without an escape game, at the Piushaven. Expeditie Robinson itself no longer exists. The public record is very thin: escapetalk mentions the game but without a score, and there is one positive TripAdvisor review about the novelty value ('Expeditie Robinson in your backyard').
