The Temple Challenge in Nistelrode is not a classical escape room but a team adventure in an Aztec temple that 'comes alive': via an authentically eerie lift you descend into a series of 11 themed rooms with fake stone walls. In each room you have exactly 6 minutes to figure out what the task is for yourself and score as many points as possible, then you automatically advance — you can never get stuck. The tasks vary greatly (throwing, jumping, memory, quick connections, quiz questions) and are physical enough that sportswear is recommended. With a 9.8 on escaperoomsnederland this is the highest-rated location in this regional batch: visitors praise the variety, friendly welcome and the 'laughed enormously' feeling.
