Playdôme Roosendaal is a large leisure center at De Stok (go-karts, bowling, laser games, hyperbowling) that has offered the licensed EscapeBox® since January 2024. It is not a real escape room where you get locked in, but a set of 12 standalone puzzle boxes with roughly 70 puzzles combined that teams of 3-4 try to crack within 45/60/90 minutes — you can race against other teams, and cracked boxes earn points on a scoreboard. It scales from 2 to ~35 people and is intended as an accessible group and team building activity for young and old. On escapetalk it has no reviews: enthusiasts don't bother with it, and the EscapeBox seems to be disappearing from the activities menu in favor of new attractions. The few responses mainly praise the fun cooperation and atmosphere; little is publicly known about the puzzle quality.
