About this venue

Red Alert is the outdoor escape from ShadowLab (Rijen), played at BOS & Co on the edge of Boswachterij Dorst near Oosterhout. The scenario is military: near helicopter base Gilze-Rijen, contact with an abandoned headquarters has been lost, smoke is rising, alarm lights are flashing and somewhere a clock is ticking — your unit must infiltrate, analyze clues and dismantle the situation before time runs out. Players wear camouflage gear and play in either a single or XL team variant (4–14 players, ages 14+). The heart of the experience is a live actor-sergeant who briefs in-character, directs diegetically during the game and debriefs afterwards — visitors actually enjoy talking to him.
