About this venue
Laser Quest Eindhoven is an entertainment centre in the nightlife area Stratumseind (Oude Stadsgracht) with laser games, pool tables and a bar, where the escape rooms are a side attraction — open daily, walk-ins welcome. The main room 'Reis om de wereld in 80 dagen' is based on Jules Verne: with leadership, ingenuity and the calm of a world traveller you try to beat the record of Phileas Fogg and Passepartout. In addition there is 'Greatest Hits' as a music-themed overflow room for larger groups. The setup is linear (one puzzle leads to the next) and cheap (€19.50 p.p., 6th person free). With an escapetalk score of 6.4, visitors appreciate the fun literary theme and flexibility, but complain about technical problems, missing props and having to repeatedly call the game master — the escape clearly feels like the side dish next to the laser games.
