About this venue
Glitch Escape Room is a boutique room for one group in the basement of the original Philips Beatrix complex on Hurksestraat in Eindhoven. In 'The GLITCH' you descend for 90 minutes into the real ventilation spaces and work your way through the history and inventions of Philips, with the host often also telling the true history of the space — half tour, half game. The authentic, raw industrial location does most of the immersion work, and the experience culminates with the highlight everyone mentions: escaping to a hidden private bar where you celebrate your victory with a drink. Reviews are still scarce but unanimously enthusiastic about the unique location, the Philips-themed puzzles, and the hospitable host; the fixed rate of €140 makes it somewhat pricey for small groups.
