Escaping Breda is the Dutch branch of the Belgian Escaping chain (Ghent/Antwerp), opened end of 2018 at Boschstraat 114 and simultaneously a cozy board game café with free games. There are three rooms: the family-friendly bank heist Let's Rob the Bank!, the more tense lab room Patient X, and the Jules Verne-style science adventure room Prof. Kepler and The Machine. The most striking narrative element is a film-recorded actor ('Jack', Prof. Kepler) woven through the game, whom reviewers call convincing and well-acted.
