EscapeRoom Vught (Fort Isabella)

Vught Closed 2 rooms

About this venue

EscapeRoom Vught was built in the real Fort Isabella, a Spanish fortification from the Eighty Years' War near 's-Hertogenbosch, where the building's history literally was the fiction. In La Casa de Isabella you accidentally end up in the luxurious room of Isabella, the playful daughter of the Spanish king; in De bevrijding van Den Bosch you play as Dutch soldiers through phases of the 1629 siege โ€” first devising an attack plan, then conquering the fort. The atmosphere, detailing and historical embedding were praised, though one reviewer complained about sloppy errors and weak guidance. The location closed at the end of December 2018 because rent wasn't renewed (the fort grounds were redeveloped); the operator moved in 2019 to Streekpark Klein Oisterwijk with two new rooms.
