About this venue
Escape Team Tilburg was an escape room next to the IBIS hotel, aimed at large groups and team building, and has since permanently closed (the chain still operates in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Assen). Flagship "Black Box" let 7 to 24 players puzzle together in a large high-tech space, with puzzles that adapted to group size. There was also the children's room "Tijdmachine" and the competitive "Game Show." Visitors appreciated that everyone stayed engaged in large groups, but complained about a cold reception, English-language audio, technical failures, and a story-light, anticlimactic ending. Scores averaged around 7.6-8.3.
