About this venue
VR Experience Sittard is the virtual-reality division of Escape Centrum Limburg (Helstraat 16, Sittard) and has no own physical themed rooms: it runs 18 licensed VR escape games plus an arcade of over fifty VR titles on the same hardware. The offering ranges from Ubisoft adventures in the Assassin's Creed world (Escape the Lost Pyramid, Beyond Medusa's Gate) and rescuing Notre-Dame during the 2019 fire, to a broad ARVI catalogue with horror, sci-fi and the Chernobyl disaster. A host briefs, puts on headsets and supervises; hints come from the game itself, and spectators follow along on TV screens. Groups of 1 to 16 players book sessions of 60 or 90 minutes. Reviews (EscapeAll 4.5-4.7, strong TripAdvisor for the parent company) praise the variety, friendly staff and especially the dizzying high-altitude moments; however, much feedback rolls up to Escape Centrum Limburg as a whole.
