Taurus World of Adventure in Velden (Venlo) is a large multi-activity center (cosmic bowling, adventure golf, laser games, restaurant) where Prison Island is the escape-like attraction. It is not a narrative escape room but a Fort Boyard-like prison complex with dozens of cells (around 26), each an independent challenge lasting 2 to 5 minutes — tactical, physical, or technical. Teams of 2 to 4 walk freely around with a keycard, choose cells based on indicated difficulty, and collect points; a green cell means success, an alarm means failure, and at the end there is a daily leaderboard. Reviewers call it accessible (from age 6), less claustrophobic than a regular escape room, and 'really awesome', with 'always some part where you shine'.
