Outdoor Escape Weert / Fun Thrills — De Archipel

Weert 1 room

About this venue

De Archipel is the outdoor escape game by Fun Thrills in Weert, played on their terrain of around 7,000 m². You follow in the footsteps of the real historical pirate Olivier Levasseur, nicknamed 'the Buzzard', who in 1730 just before his execution threw a cryptic message about his hidden treasure to the crowd. Teams of 8 to 24 players (ideal ~16, from 10 years old) unravel the secrets of the Buzzard in 60 minutes outdoors, with professional guidance and a playing field adjusted to the group size. Fun Thrills also runs two regular indoor escape rooms (including Mystery Mine) plus laser game, axe throwing and archery tag. There are barely any standalone enthusiast reviews of De Archipel itself; as a group activity park Fun Thrills scores well on Google/TripAdvisor, with praise for friendly staff, spacious rooms and accessibility. Note: there is a separate operator 'Outdoor Escape Weert' (iPad games) that is often confused with De Archipel.
