About this venue
Home of Heroes is a 2,000 m² activity centre in a converted former brickworks on Dorpsstraat in Buggenum (Leudal), with laser games in the old drying tunnels, the largest indoor obstacle course in the Benelux, axe throwing and e-choppers. The escape content is a hybrid event product, not a classical sit-and-puzzle room. Battle of the Godfathers is a mafia team battle for 8-24 players: each team escapes its own room full of gold bars, then splits into puzzle solvers and laser fighters who bring the gold to a central bank while rivals try to steal it. There's also Spaken & Kraken, a mobile escape "on wheels". Visitors praise the unique industrial location, the group atmosphere and good guidance/arrangements, but there's barely an enthusiastic review base: the escapetalk room has zero reviews and the story is disposable — real escape fans ignore the location because it's not a "real" escape room.
