FunFactory Parkstad is a family entertainment center in Brunssum (Horizonstraat 75, near Schutterspark) with a rage room among other attractions, and also offers one Horror Escape Room. The premise is deliberately kept secret: the promise is the building itself, with multiple rooms and secret narrow passages that give you goosebumps. It is the only escape room in the Kerkrade/Brunssum region that works with real live actors and focuses on multi-sensory immersion via scent, smoke, actors, and audio, where atmosphere trumps puzzles. It is explicitly not for everyone: 16+, with warnings for heart conditions, claustrophobia, and anxiety disorders, and a mandatory waiver.
