About this venue
Escaperoom Fun Valley is located on the Fun Valley recreation park near Eijsden (Maastricht) and offers two rooms as part of a broader activity park. In The Lodge you're locked in with your team in a rustic wooden hut and must escape within 60 minutes; hidden coins can be exchanged via a secret hatch for hints, making help an earned currency. The Blackbox is more intense: players are chained in pitch-dark space and must first free themselves using all senses except sight before they can escape (not for people with claustrophobia or fear of the dark). Visitors praise the atmosphere, decor, and special effects, but note that the rooms feel like a side activity of the park, that service sometimes falls short, and that the price is high for the duration.
