Escape Centrum Limburg (Helstraat 16, in Sittard town center) opened on February 25, 2016 with Helstraat 666 as Sittard's first escape room and has grown into the region's largest escape center: five classic rooms plus a kids room, 18 VR escapes, axe throwing, a (B)Arcade with pinball machines and karaoke, for groups of 2 to 100. The rooms range from the occult small-town thriller Helstraat 666 (search pastor Jean's study for his dark secret before he returns from mass) via the horror office The Haunted Office, the atmospheric but devilishly difficult The Lost Wizard and the crime-scene room Face Down to the new, humorous Royal Madness. Visitors are positive — TripAdvisor reports ~100% recommendations — and praise the decor, the staff, the variety and especially the afterglow with a complimentary drink and board games in the reception bar. Only criticism: The Lost Wizard is very difficult with small teams; otherwise nothing structural.
