About this venue
The City Escape Nijmegen is not a physical escape room but an app-guided escape city walk by The City Escape, a national chain. In approximately 1.5 to 2.5 hours you walk about 3 km through the city center, starting at Kronenburgerpark, while solving puzzles and discovering the city. The story is set in 1806: the Waal is threatening to overflow its banks due to drifting ice and storm, and via letters from your German pen friend you must build a boat before the city floods. You play independently with your own code and app, at your own pace, without a game master. Participants find it a surprisingly fun, interactive way to get to know the city differently, even residents who already know Nijmegen well; there are hardly any reviews on escape platforms yet. From €29.95 per team (2-4 people).
