About this venue
Prison Experience takes place in the real Koepelgevangenis of Arnhem, built in 1886 the oldest dome prison in the Netherlands and a working prison until 2016. You play in Innocent a prominent lawyer wrongly imprisoned for years for a murder you didn't commit and try to escape from the isolation cells, or in the large-scale The Dome Escape (up to 90 players) where small groups each follow their own story through the cell ring. Visitors are almost unanimous in being impressed by the building itself: entering the dome is the highlight for most. The puzzles and finish are controversial, with too few reviews for a reliable rating.
