About this venue
Prison Experience Arnhem hosts escape games inside the real Koepelgevangenis, with 1886 the oldest panopticon-dome prison in the Netherlands (over 2,000 m²). The offer includes Innocent (escape as a notorious, life-sentenced prisoner and avoid the guard), the large-scale team-building game The Dome Escape with parallel storylines across the cell rings, and the newer The Vendetta Code. The location is entirely themed and the authenticity of the building impresses everyone. The games themselves receive mixed to low scores: reviewers complain about too much arithmetic, little tension and sometimes shabby rooms, while the prison as an experience is almost unanimously praised.
