Moeke Mooren is an escape room division of a hospitality venue on the Meuse in Appeltern, where the rooms are sold as arrangements (escape + grill/dinner). The rooms draw heavily from the venue's own history: flagship Room 13 plays out in 1921 around archaeologist Josep Moreno who opens the spirit world, while Cold Case de Blauwe Sluis recreates a real, reopened murder case from the 1970s in a police station setting (with two identical rooms for friendly competition up to 20 players). There is also the beginner-friendly Moeke's Kamer and the physical children's room Pompen of Verzuipen. Visitors praise the suspense and the Cold Case based on true events, but reviews are mixed (6.8): complaints centre on a single operator serving all rooms, broken props and unanswered hints β the classic maintenance shortfall of an escape room operating as a sideline to a restaurant.
Kamer 13 was erg leuk en spannend. Service was ook top!β escaperoomsnederland
