Waterproof was the escape room of the Dutch Water Museum, located in and beneath the Sonsbeekpark in Arnhem. The room was at the lowest point of the surrounding area and the theme was truly Dutch: a heavy storm was coming and if your team didn't crack the codes within 60 minutes, water would flood the room โ 'keep your feet dry'. It was a museum attraction rather than a standalone escape business, run by museum staff without an actor, with the museum's educational water tone (evacuation, water levels, dykes), for up to 10-12 people and only on weekends within the museum's opening hours. There were hardly any reviews of the room itself (escapetalk notes a 6.9 on just 4 reviews); the room never really reached the escape room enthusiast community. The escape room has since disappeared from the museum: the museum website no longer refers to 'escape room' or 'Waterproof' and the booking pages now lead to a generic interactive museum page, while the Water Museum itself remains open as a family outing.
Leuk opgezet en aantal flink lastige puzzels waar je niet in je eentje uit gaat komen.โ Escaperooms Nederland
Ik was nog nooit in een Escaperoom geweest, maar vond het geweldig. We hadden nog 4 minuten over!โ Escaperooms Nederland
Zit goed in elkaar met verrassende elementen erin.โ Escaperooms Nederland
