Escaperoom Harderwijk (Adventure Veluwe BV, Gelreweg 34) was a first-generation location from around 2016 with two rooms: De Criminele Kamer, the office of a gold-dealing criminal involving missing person 'Harry de V.', and the widely criticised Lab X of professor De Bolle. The business disappeared by mid-2023; dagjeweg.nl states 'CLOSED — this outing no longer exists' and the TLS certificate of its own website has expired. De Criminele Kamer was valued as an accessible beginner room for families, but experienced players found it thin, and Lab X received scathing reviews: illogical, virtually unsolvable puzzles, missing props and computer resets. The recurring image in reviews is decay — outdated rooms where not everything worked — in a city where competitor Kok Experience was just opening.
