Part of outdoor company Otterlo Events, housed in a former riding stable in the middle of the Veluwe, this location has operated two escape rooms since 2017. In Escaperoom Dakar you start in a real rally car that has crashed in a desert cave, and in Hour of the Wolf you race as a forest ranger against the clock to find proof of a wolf before the forest is logged — a time limit neatly woven into the story itself. The puzzles are from the first generation (searching, codes, padlocks) and there is also a mobile escape room that comes to your location. Reviews are mixed (7.3 on escaperoomsnederland.nl): families call it cozy and 'super thrilling and very varied', but more critical players find the decoration dated, the ending unclear, and the hinting discipline of the staff inconsistent.
