Escaperoom Betuwe is located on the historic manor farm Arkelshoef in Tricht, among the fruit orchards along the Linge, and weaves fiction with the real family history of the property: the witch Cassandra bears the name Ruighaver, from the family that inhabited the farm for generations. The active room Enchanted Witch (75 minutes, 18+) revolves around freeing Cassandra's soul by collecting the five emeralds of Tricht, with fright effects via light and sound but without actors. In March 2026 the business reopened under new ownership with, according to them, 'innovative high-tech challenges' for advanced players; older rooms like Hunter's Lodge and Escape from the City have had unclear status since. Sparse reviews are positive (escapetalk around 9.0 for Enchanted Witch) and praise the creative design, the story and the enthusiastic owner. Note: the official website is currently a bare WordPress placeholder, which makes booking difficult.
