About this venue
Escape Room Veluwe in Nunspeet is a small-scale passion project run by two owners 'in the green heart of the Veluwe', deliberately family-friendly and without horror. In De Barones you play detective through the life of a wealthy but confused and forgetful baroness to find her missing diamonds — with the warning that nothing is what it seems; children play their own junior version while parents watch live on a screen. The rooms are classic puzzle and lock rooms with clever, think-just-slightly-differently puzzles and a hint system you control yourself via a screen. Visitors especially praise the super warm welcome and small-scale charm (8.9 on escaperoomsnederland.nl); experienced players do note limited parallel play and a somewhat flat ending. The farmhouse room Aandacht is closed; a new room is being built in its place.
