Escape Room USS Triton was a single submarine room within the entertainment center Kartbaan Winterswijk (alongside go-karts, laser tag and bowling), opened in May 2016 and now permanently closed. The WWII story was strong on paper: a sinking submarine, four remaining torpedoes and an enemy fleet disguised as fishing boats, from which you had to choose the correct target. In practice the execution fell short: many similar math puzzles and no clear sequence, so teams didn't know where to start. With an escapetalk score of 5.0 on only a handful of reviews, the room ranked among the lowest-rated in Gelderland and disappeared with barely a trace. There is hardly any online footprint of it.
