Escape Room Beusichem was a small-scale escape room in a genuine old riding stable that had stood empty for about thirty years — the perfect setting for the story. In 'Het Mysterie van Meyer' players investigated what happened to horse breeder Meyer, who disappeared without a trace decades ago along with his daughter and his valuable horses. Visitors praised precisely that authentic, frozen-in-time stable atmosphere and the original puzzles integrated into the décor; the room was considered challenging and recommended especially for experienced players. There was also criticism: rooms were not always properly reset and some puzzles were subjectively judged by the gamemaster via camera. The venue has since permanently closed; a reason was never made public.
