De Morfinekluis operates at Experience Center Apeldoorn on the Switsalterrein, and the brilliant part is that the story uses the building's real history: on this site powerful alkaloid painkillers were produced for decades, and in the fiction there's still one specimen from the secret morphine project MX10 in the vault. You and your team break in over 90 minutes, stay out of the hands of patrolling 'guards', find the MX10 and escape again — stealth tension on top of puzzle pressure, spread over multiple rooms. Onboarding begins before arrival with a mission email, hints come completely wrapped in the fiction and after finishing there's a debrief with walkthrough and group photo. With 9.5 on escapetalk (atmosphere 9.4, gameplay 9.5, service 9.5), this is a national top-25 room; the only real caveat is that it's challenging for beginners.
