About this venue
Clocked-Up is a small, family-run escape business in central Arnhem (Looierstraat) that has been running escape rooms and outdoor city games since around 2015. The flagship is De Grootmeester, where you as an apprentice break into the forbidden study of a mysterious architect and the story becomes clearer puzzle by puzzle, with a surprising twist at the end. Movie Night is a nostalgic video rental store room from 2002, and outside you play city games such as Slag om Arnhem along real WWII locations. Visitors praise the warm, passionate hosts, the original puzzles, and the excellent value for money (8.3 at Escape Rooms Nederland); criticism is mainly about the somewhat cheap finish of Movie Night and the fact that a nimble group member sometimes comes in handy.
