Arnhem Escaperoom was a budget venue with six rooms on an industrial estate at L.J. Costerstraat, built for capacity: groups up to 10 people, free parking, food and drinks included. The themes ranged from a war bunker and a bank vault heist to a Euro 88 football room and a treasure hunt centred on the real Forrest Fenn mystery โ the latter scored 6.8 and was the only above-average room. Reviewers were otherwise harsh: simply decorated rooms, easy puzzles, and 'more searching than puzzling', though the price-to-quality ratio was seen as fair. With escapetalk scores between 3.6 and 6.8, it became a cautionary tale in the region: quantity over quality. The location has since permanently closed.
