In sports café Harmonie on the Legeweg in Dokkum, visitors could play two 'fast escape rooms' of 30 minutes each from early 2018, built by café owner Jacob Visser in the building of the old city cinema. The formula was deliberately simple: no storyline, just crack the final code as fast as possible, with two parallel rooms so groups could race each other. It remained a side project of the café — never a single enthusiast review came in and an announced larger room around the cinema's past was never built. The escape rooms have since closed and the website is offline; escapetalk marks the location as closed. Included for completeness, but there's nothing left to book here.
